The Blackheath Male Voice Choir was formed in 1932 when a group of men decided to have a light-hearted singing session after choir practice at St George's Church Blackheath. It was so successful that they decided to form a Male Voice Choir. Since that time the Choir has delighted thousands of people with their singing and have raised over £115,000 for local and national charities.

The Choir provides an hour of live entertainment - light music and nostalgic songs - as solos and by an ensemble of 8 to 10 male voices. They are kept busy throughout the year performing at Day Centres, Luncheon Clubs, Retirement Homes, etc. and bookings can be made through
Geoff Colton, telephone 020-8460 3268 or Email

The Choir meet and rehearse every Wednesday evening at Mycenae House Blackheath and welcome new members who like singing in a relaxed atmosphere. Further information can be provided by

These two pictures show the versitility of the Choir. The top picture was taken at a recent concert in Charlton House and the picture on the left was from our Christmas Tour of selected restaurants in Blackheath Village, raising funds on behalf of Greenwich Mencap.
